GMC Air Suspension Compressor Kit Installation And Review Videos
Hey guys, it's Jake here with etrailer. Today, we have a 2018 GMC Sierra 1500, and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor. Adding an onboard air compressor to your truck is gonna allow you to inflate and deflate your airbags, so that you don't have to get out and do it with a manual compressor. Airbags on the back of a truck, especially like a 1500, is very, very handy to have, but it can be really annoying to have to get out and change the air pressure, especially if you don't know what air pressure you've used before, or if you're hauling a foreign trailer to your truck. It just helps to add a compressor on here, so that with the push of a button on the remote or on your phone, you can increase or decrease the air pressure as you're traveling down the road. The compressor and the control module are going to mount directly to the side of your frame rail. more

Air Lift WirelessONE Compressor System Installation - 2019 GMC Sierra 1500- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today, we're taking a look at installing the Air Lift WirelessOne, onboard air compressor for rear airbags on a 2019 GMC Sierra 1500. This system is really nice. It comes with the easy-mount bracket for your compressor, but also with Bluetooth, which means you can use this to control the airbags at just the push of a button from inside your vehicle, or you can use your phone via an app to be able to control those airbags. This is what our compressor looks like when it's installed and overall, it's super clean. From the side profile of the truck, you really can't see anything, especially with the side steps that we have. Our running boards pretty much block all of it and it's nice and protected. more

Hey guys, it's Jake here with Etrailer. Today we have a 2024 GMC Sierra 2500 and we're gonna be taking a look at and I'm gonna show you how to install the Air Lift WirelessOne EZ Mount Compressor. This compressor is gonna be designed to help inflate and deflate your airbag so that you don't have to find an air compressor or use a bike pump in order to adjust them. It'll come with a remote with at a click of a button you can inflate and deflate your airbags. This air compressor will have a 100 PSI rating, so it can air your airbags up to 100 PSI. I will say with my experience with airbags, the compressor works pretty fast on the lower end of the spectrum, but once you get past I'd say probably 45 or 50 PSI, it's going to take much longer to get to a higher rating. more

If you have airbags or you're looking to get a set of airbags, you'll know how convenient it is to have an onboard air compressor. Having to air up your airbags manually with either a bike pump or an air compressor at a gas station is gonna be a pain to have to always rely on that as your only source of air. Adding a wireless air compressor is going to make you want to use your airbags more. more

One of the biggest reasons why people will add an onboard air compressor to pair with their vehicle's airbags is because they get tired of having to fill up their airbags to a certain PSI just to haul a load. You have no adjustability. I mean, you always have the option to let air out, but you're gonna have to find an air compressor or carry one with you if you want to add air into the bags. Adding a wireless air compressor to your vehicle is gonna give you the ultimate adjustability when you're out on the road hauling a load. more

Hey everybody, how's it going. Today we're gonna be going over and showing you how to install the air lift, wireless air compressor system here on our 2020 GMC Sierra 3,500. So an air compressor system isn't a requirement for onboard airbags, but they are gonna make your life that much easier. So normally in order to fill the air bags in your truck here, you're gonna have to find an external compressor to fill them up. And if you find yourselves to be changing loads frequently, or just simply towing frequently, that's gonna be sort of a hassle. So having a way to fill those air springs on board of our truck with the flick of a switch is gonna be a great feature to have certainly worthwhile. more

This kit is the single-sensor kit.I've taken the vehicle outside now and I've put about 1,000 pounds of weight in the back. As soon as I go to turn the key on, it's going to arm the system and it's going to check our level sensor, determine if it needs to, and it's going to air-up the bags. Today on our 2018 GMC Sierra 1500, we're going to be taking a look at it, and showing you how to install the air lift, load controller two compressor system. Although a manual inflation valve to fill up or deflate your air bags will work just fine, they can be a little inconvenient, especially when you're trying to make changes on the go, or you're not at the house, that way you're not going to have to go out and find an air compressor, or a gas station, and fill up your bags every time. So what's nice about the onboard compressor, is you're not going to have to worry about any of that. You're going to be able to inflate or deflate your bags, anywhere you are. So whether you're at the job site, or way far out of town, not around an air compressor, you're going to be able to get the job done. more

Firestone Air Command F3 Compressor System Installation - 2018 GMC Sierra 1500- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 GMC Sierra 1500, we're gonna be installing Firestone's Air Command F3 Compressor System, part number F2589.So, if you're out working where there's no air compressor, you load up the back of your vehicle and you wanna air it up, but you can't Well, now you can, because this system has a compressor built in, and it's gonna air it right up to your desired level using the wireless remote.When running around town unloaded, you're gonna want it set to five Psi for both your airbags. When you've got a load on it, you're gonna wanna adjust that to accommodate that load. And if you have something that you typically haul like let's say a trailer, you can save memory settings. So we've got memory one set to our unloaded position, and memory two we have set so we can adjust for that trailer we're gonna hook up. And you can see on the remote as the pressure increases in both your left and right airbag.After it airs it up, you usually go slightly higher than what you're desired pressure is, and then slowly brings that back down. Then it settles of at your desired pressure and you're good to go. more

Today on our 2016 GMC Sierra 2500, we're going to be showing you to install the Air Lift WirelessONE air compressor system. This is a single path remote control compressor. The part number is AL25870. With our air bag kit, the minimum psi is going to be five. What we like to do is take one of our programmable buttons, we'll just use the first one, we're going to set that for five pounds of air. We have two others that we can use. We've got the number two here, so we'll press that one. more

Firestone Air Command II Compressor & Air Tank Installation - 2008 GMC Sierra- Video
Today on our 2008 GMC Sierra 2500 were going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Firestone Air Command II. This is a heavy duty compressor and air tank offering dual function and a maximum psi rating of 150 lbs. The part number is F2168. Our gauge is going to allow us to keep monitor and check our pressures. As you can see we can bring these right down to our minimum operating range or then also because we have that tank you can see we can fill individually and you can really see how quickly it really engages. Most of the time wed be sitting here for quite a while trying to get up to what were at now about 40 psi but with that 120 psi in that tank it really helps to take care of that. A great thing is for off center load were going to have full adjustability of that. more

Firestone Level Command II Installation - 2011 GMC Sierra- Video
Today on this 2011 GMC 3500, we're going to install the Firestone Air Accessory Kit, part number F2219. Our first step is going to be mounting the gauges for our accessory kit. The customer has chosen to mount the gauges in the glove box. First, what I did is made a custom bracket so they will seat deep enough in the glove box and still be able to close the door. What I need to do is go ahead and open the door all the way, releasing the safety latch here. I'll be using my gauges as a template to draw out so we can cut out the back of the glove box to create a depth that we need to mount our gauges. more
